What personal data do we process from you?

When using our services and website, you leave certain data with us. This may be personal data, but it may also be other data such as click behaviour and visitor data (cookies).

We speak of personal data when it is data that provides information about you and by which you are directly or indirectly identifiable to us. By processing this personal data, we mean the blocking, storage, updating, use, linking, retrieval, organisation, consultation, compilation, recording, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or any other form of making available, erasure, destruction, collection or modification of your personal data.

Which of your data we process depends on the services you use. For example, if you only visit our website without contacting us, no personal data will be collected from you and (with your consent) only cookies will be collected. If you choose to contact us, sign up for our digital newsletter or enter into an agreement for our services, the personal data you send us will be processed by us in order to fulfil your wishes and our goals. You are therefore always free to choose whether and which personal data you send to us. In addition, you can always review, change or remove your personal data. You can read how to do this below.

The personal data that we may process from you are:

  • Name and surname
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone details
  • Address details
  • Other personal data that you actively provide

Why do we process your personal data?

The reason why we collect and use personal data from you depends on the services you use. Below is an overview of our purposes. If you are unsure which purposes apply to you and therefore why (some of) your personal data is being collected, please contact us at info@kroeze-interieur.nl. If you subsequently disagree with the reason why we are processing your personal data, you have the right to access, change or delete your personal data or to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data.

The purposes for which we process your personal data are:

  • Answering or dealing with contact or registration forms or e-mails.
  • Execution of an agreement relating to our (creative) services.
  • Handling the order procedure and/or payment.
  • The delivery of goods and services pursuant to an agreement.
  • Analysing behaviour on the website, in order to improve the website.
  • Fulfilment of legal obligations (such as our tax return).
  • Handling of complaints.
  • Preventing fraud.

How long do we process your personal data?

The duration of the processing of your personal data depends on the services you use. Kroeze Interieur B.V. does not keep your personal data longer than necessary to realise the goals for which your data are collected. If legal requirements apply to the storage, the personal data will not be kept longer than legally required.

Examples of data retention periods based on other services used are:

  • Personal data sent in a contact or registration form or via e-mail will be stored until they have been answered or dealt with, depending on their nature and content.
  • The data collected by means of Google Analytics after visiting our website is stored for 3 years.
  • The personal data processed for an agreement relating to our (creative) services remain in our customer file for a longer period of time. For example, we are legally obliged to keep the basic data in our administration for 7 years (see the website of the tax authorities).

From whom do we not collect personal data?

We have no intention of collecting data on website visitors who are under 16 years of age, unless they have permission from their parents or guardians. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16 years of age. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent data being collected on children without parental permission. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data on a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@kroeze-interieur.nl. We will then delete this information.

What do we do to ensure that your personal data is processed securely?

Personal data is personal and must remain personal. Kroeze Interieur B.V. takes the protection of your personal data very seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised changes. We ensure, for example, that only the necessary people have access to your data, that the data are sent via a secure connection and that they are stored in a secure database. We also ensure that our security measures are checked regularly.

Do we share your data with other companies?

Kroeze Interieur B.V. does not sell your personal data to third parties. Your personal data will only be shared with third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We will conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your details on our behalf, to ensure that they handle your details just as safely and confidentially as we do. Kroeze Interieur B.V. remains responsible for these processes.

What if you do not give us permission to process your personal data?

If you do not give us permission to collect and use your personal data, you will only be able to use our services to a limited extent, if at all. For many of our services, we need at least your e-mail address or telephone number, for example, to be able to contact you. Without these personal details, you will not be able to use our services.

How can you access, change or delete personal data that has been processed about you?

You have the right to inspect, change or remove your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your permission for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Kroeze Interieur B.V. Finally, you have the right to data portability, which means that you can submit a request to have your personal data sent to you or an organisation specified by you in a computer file.

You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion or data interchange of your personal data to info@kroeze-interieur.nl. You can also withdraw your permission for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by sending an e-mail to info@kroeze-interieur.nl.

To ensure that the request is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document. In this copy, please make sure that your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone), passport number and BSN (Citizen's Service Number) are black. This is to protect your privacy.

We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but at the latest within four working weeks.

How do you file a complaint with the Authority for the Protection of Personal Data?

We will be happy to help you if you have any complaints about the processing of your personal data.
